Killer Bee is a twin motor tank style mini sumo. Its
constructed out of a Lego Mindstorm kit. No other parts were used (save for
tape to hold down wires and logos). Its programmed with the stock Mindstorm
graphic language. It's simple 'drive forward until the edge is found then
backup and turn' algorithm keeps it in the ring. The LED unit is used to
sense the white edge of the ring.
The blade on the front is set in an upright position and dropped with a
sudden backward motion at the end of the five second wait.
