Old business:
501 c (3) Status Still have approximately $350.00 to go to
reach $500.00 Goal. Benefits from achieving this status would include tax w
rite-offs for any business who makes a donation. This could bring in many
things the club needs including laptops and money for building a large club
robot for public appearances.
BotBash Video Should be available soon! Approximately two weeks
until it's release
New Business:
BotBash 2000 Rules Review for the combat and autonomous events.
Rules are to be posted to the BotBash website. The sumo event will be removed for
a "Capture the flag" type event. The arena is to be enlarged to 16’ X 24’
BotBash.com is now listed on Robohoo and Yahoo.
BattleBots: Las Vegas event is to be held on the 17th
of november and the PayPerView event is to be held on the 27Th.
Hamilton High We were the top time donated at the event, and Both
Hamilton High and Intel want us to return to the next event of the Hamilton High School
science day on Saturday March 4th, 2000.
Intel fab 12 Intel Fab 12 will be holding an open house in November
from the 12th through the 14th we have decided to appear there
on Saturday the 13th from 8am to 4 pm. Bob will check to see if we can put
out a donation box. Bob has all three of his arcade style robots ready to go. Jim will
be there with Cactus Jack Coyote and we will have some walker demos. Everyone is invited
to attend and BRING YOUR ROBOTS! We also are looking into having a raffle with several
small prizes to give away.
